As I write this the rains continue to pour down on our cozy little home here in Zephyrhills. It has been doing this all day long but it remains warm. We've watched the horrible snows in Buffalo reaching heights of 7 feet followed by warmth and rains causing flooding and thank our lucky stars that we can enjoy Florida and more temperate weather
Carolyn brought several pots of flowers with her that had been providing color at our son's home in Pennsylvania but would die once the freezes hit. Here they are giving us both great pleasure and apparently loving the atmosphere as at last count the geraniums had 34 buds on them.
We've already enjoyed not only the Disney experience with our Texas kids and the two cruises but a four day outing with our Winnebago friends at a campout. Those happen once a month so we'll soon be off to Sarasota for the December one.
Meanwhile we are getting into the swing of things including Ken collecting money at the Monday morning breakfasts, Carolyn enjoying the daily water aerobics classes, Ken keeping the park sign up to date with all the activities taking place, Carolyn quilting with the Monday group at the clubhouse, and lots of biking and walking. More and more winter friends are coming in each day and by January the park will be close to full and our days as full as we allow them to be.
Life is good!!!!!!!!
Glad to read you are all settled in. Looks good :)
