This morning we packed up and then enjoyed a very nice breakfast out on the patio at the side of the Guesthouse where we were staying. The British couple we had traveled with yesterday joined us for the meal.
Then we were off to catch the Conch Tour Train that would take us around the historical section of Key West and tell us a bit about the area. It is about an hour trip with four different stopping points for people to get off and do some exploring of the area. We had walked to the stop closest to our inn - about 8 blocks away- to begin the trip though it was actually near the end of the circle tour. At the official start point at Mallory Square we got off and did some exploring of the area enjoying a brief walk through of the sculpture garden
filled with head and shoulder sculptures of famous people connected with Key West including President Harry Truman
More later.......................
