None of the three of us wanted to get off the ship today. Beth wanted to walk and relax at the pool and read. Ken and I wanted to walk the Promenade Deck too and then just relax with our books. The temperatures were absolutely delightful after what we had the last couple of days so that was another reason just to soak up the fresh air. So between walking, enjoying breakfast and lunch out on the back deck, and relaxing on our balcony we did alot of that.
We did have fun being out on the balcony and watching all the activity around us since we were the second ship in (it is always fun watching your own ship dock too)
but ultimately there were five ships; two of which were at a different pier and thus a different shopping area yet it was just a short distance away so we could see all that activity too.
The funny part was that the Royal Caribbean ship we were on last March came in opposite us and had the Winnebago Sunshine Adventure attendees on it. We knew that Dave and Donna Rumrill were on there but didn't try to arrange to see them as Dave was still recovering from his acute pancreatitis and was under doctor's orders to rest. Sadly we didn't realize there were several other couples in that group we would have loved to connect with, especially the Appenzellers and Christoffs. Oh well, we knew we'd see both the Christoffs and Rumrills at MFW next week anyway. It was just more fun being lazy!!!
After our dinner in the evening, we went to the Princess Theater to watch the dance production show called Magic To Do. That was super with all kinds of magic tricks worked into the dances and songs.
We had gone through another time change last night moving the clock forward one hour and were going to be doing it again tonight at midnight so we just called it a night after the show to try and get our bodies back into sync. Besides, this was really meant to be a very relaxing cruise. After the last two days we needed to do that!!!!!!
