Our grandson, Scott, is attending a three week art class on the campus of the Center for Creative Studies earning three college credits and getting a taste of advanced education. One of the projects the students have taken on is creating very colorful sides of old buildings in Detroit. Below is the group and one of their artistic creations.
Here he is at work - well I think he is strictly posing in this case as I doubt green paint belongs in that spot. :-)

Hopefully these bright spots will be resistant to the awful graffiti that seems to cover so many of the buildings and bring some bright hope to those areas. Thanks Scott and all those attending the session with you.
