For the past three days, we have been traveling through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Missouri aiming for the Indian Point Corps of Engineers Campground on Table Rock Lake in Branson. All four of our children and their families have also been on the road: two of them left on Saturday and two early this morning aiming for the same area but to a spot across the road from here - Tribesman Resort. Last night about 7:00 CST all 20 of us were back together again!!! There were hugs happening everywhere and kids getting reacquainted many of them meeting our very youngest, Karsten, for the very first time. It has been three years since we shared time together. JOY reigns!!!
Our first adventure together was a late dinner at the Floating Cafe which is just down the hill and on Table Rock Lake almost directly in front of our campsite. We were on an open deck on the second floor where we had a great view of this huge lake and as the sun went down an especially fantastic view of several different firework shows one of which we're sure was a professional show as it was continuous with lots of huge fireworks and lasted about 45 minutes. What a beautiful beginning to our time together.
