We awoke early this morning to a strange sound - the pitter patter of rain on the roof. It never amounted to a whole lot and the sun was out before noon bringing plenty of sunshine and heat.
Sadly, the mobile service man came and went but we still can't open the slide. He said it would require work in a garage with more knowledge and parts than he had. So for the foreseeable future we'll have to get along with this set up.
Frank and Bette joined Ken and I for a trip to Riverton to visit with a mutual friend - Ruth Scott and enjoy a meal together at her home. We relived many of our experiences on WIT caravans that we enjoyed with her and her husband Gene when they were the hosts and Ken and I were the parkers--the Grand Circle, the Maritimes, Western Canada, and Alaska. It was when we were on the Grand Circle back in 2005 that we met Frank and Bette. We traveled together on all of these caravans with the Scott's together so we shared lots and lots of memories.
