This morning we had to have the TV dish installer come back to make an adjustment so that it would work fully. But once that was done we were off to visit with our kids in Huntington Woods. I took along several games so Jason and I could play for awhile since the rest of the family was busy with tasks. I taught him how to play Qwirkle and Sequence -- he won both!!!!
By then Scott was back from his hair appointment and Dean had returned from his outing. So, I spent time showing both Scott and Beth how to play Qwirkle while Dean and Jason made from scratch strawberry lemonade. We had to quit mid game to take Scott to the photographers for his senior high pictures at Prestige - the same place all four of our kids went for their senior pictures.
When we returned, Beth and I were able to finish up the game -- she beat me big time. It didn't take her long to grasp how to play!!! She was even showing me better plays. :-)
Meanwhile, Dean was deep into fixing dinner. What a great cook! He fixed fresh salmon on the grill along with roasted vegetables. In addition, he made "dirty" rice and cooked up some ribs. We eat well at their "restaurant"!!!!!!
Scott's girlfriend showed up just as we were sitting down to dinner so Bella joined us for the meal. Then she and Scott took Jason to their "lab" and created a mohawk on Jason just for fun. We had to step into the back yard to take some fun photos of the three of them before leaving for home.
